Traveling is one of my passions in life. I have been fortunate to be able to travel to many special destinations across the globe including; South Africa, Israel, Canada, Italy, France, Spain, England, Poland, and Mexico. One of my favorite elements of traveling is getting to try different cuisines from around the world. After all, I am a major foodie- and yes, I am in love with good food. The good news is that my friend Kiersten from The Blonde Abroad, happens share my passion for traveling and food. So we teamed up together to share some fun, easy, and delicious recipes with from around the globe.
This week we whipped together a really simple Hummus recipe. I don’t know about you but I absolutely love dipping some veggies and crackers in hummus for a tasty snack. (In case you didn’t know, my favorite crackers in the world are Mary’s Gone Crackers– they are gluten-free and made from flaxseeds instead of flour).
A quick note before we get to the recipe and video: Store-bought Hummus contains low quality ingredients. When you make hummus at home, you can control exactly what you put in. Homemade Hummus has much better flavor than store-bought hummus because the ingredients are so fresh.
